12 Questions for 365 Opportunities

I love the new year. It’s one of my favorite holidays, possibly my favorite. Partly because it’s the start of my birthday month 💃🏻

Also, because it’s a chance for a “clean slate.” To make massive changes. This is not to say we can’t make these changes otherwise, obviously. Time is just a made up construct anyways.

I believe each new year signifies 365 new opportunities.

There’s something about the calendar changing and the number of the year shifting that lights a fire under your butt. I am doing everything within my own control to make the most of these opportunities.

A better year starts with asking yourself better questions. In general terms, asking yourself better questions provides for better answers helping to key you into your intuition. It’s one of the reasons I find coaching so powerful.

These are the questions I’m asking myself as I set my intentions and goals for 2018:

  • What would make me feel like I made the most of these 365 opportunities?

  • What can be done this year to get me closer to my dreams or vision?

  • How can I act more in line with my values?

  • What am I pretending not to know about my life at the current moment?

  • What changes, internally and externally, do I want to make over the next year?

  • How could you bring more creative energy and imagination into my life this year?

  • How can I develop my consciousness through the next year?

  • How can I bring more love and joy into my life this year?

  • What do I want to accomplish this year in each area of my life?

  • How do I want to show up and be in the world this year?

  • What would help me grow and push myself?

  • How do I want my life to look like in a year and what would help me get there?

In an effort to make this year the best yet, I had a crazy idea to build a group of people from different industries, different locations, with the same intention of truly upleveling their 2018 and making the world better for themselves and others. Let’s note: I’m not saying resolutions. Resolutions psych us out. It signifies something to be “resolved,” that there was a problem in the first place. It’s disempowering in terms of taking actions towards those “solutions.” It’s shouldn’t be about resolving; rather, it’s better to intend to do and be better going forward.

HAPPY NEW YEAR & Lots of love,
